Cooling System Scale & Corrosion Inhibitors

The unwanted accumulation of scale and detrimental impact of metallic corrosion can be significant issues that affect the operation and maintenance of open and closed cooling water systems including evaporative condensers.


    • Phosphate based Corrosion Inhibitor
      It is a high performance, non-volatile cooling water corrosion inhibitor and scale dispersant scientifically formulated for the treatment and protection of open circuit evaporative cooling water systems and air conditioning plant facilities. It is a highly versatile cooling water product comprising an alkaline blend of anodic and cathodic inhibitors based on phosphate, a threshold deposit control agent and a sludge conditioner combined with a bromine pre-cursor which allows it to offer effective protection to multi-metal HVAC systems.

 

    • Zinc based Corrosion Inhibitor
      It is a highly advanced cooling water treatment, scientifically formulated using an alkaline blend of inorganic and organic scale and corrosion inhibitors, combined with a bromine pre-cursor, developed specifically for the treatment and protection of open circuit evaporative cooling water systems. It is a very effective cooling water treatment formulation that provides scale and corrosion control over a wide range of water qualities and operational conditions.

 

    • Phosphate free Corrosion Inhibitor
      Blend of organic inhibitors for use where heavy metals or phosphates are restricted. For medium to high hardness waters. It is a high-performance, multi-purpose cooling water treatment based on an alkaline blend of corrosion inhibitor, threshold deposit control agent, sludge conditioner and bromine pre-cursor. It is scientifically formulated for the treatment and protection of open evaporative cooling systems. It is a highly efficient water treatment formulation which gives superior protection to multi-metal systems without the requirement of additional specific corrosion inhibitors.
      It offers an excellent environmental profile being free from the controversial constituents such as heavy metals or phosphates, whose use is becoming increasingly restricted.

 

    • Silicate based Corrosion Inhibitor
      Heavy metal free, silicate based blend of inorganic and organic scale and corrosion inhibitors. Great environmental profile.

 

    • Alkaline Corrosion Inhibitor
      Concentrated alkaline blend of scale and corrosion inhibitor including phosphonate.

 

    • Molybdate based Corrosion Inhibitor 
      Molybdate based scale & corrosion inhibitor for soft to medium hardness water. And applications with low cycles of concentration.

 

  • Bromine Precursor Inhibitor
    It is a stable liquid activating solution specifically formulated for use with the range of scale and corrosion inhibitors to release the biocidal power of “Bromine”.

Cooling System Dispersants

The accumulation of microbiological slimes, biofilm and general bio-fouling in cooling water systems reduces system efficiency, increases operating and maintenance costs, and raises risks to safety and health.



    • Non-Ionic Dispersant
      Non-ionic surface active agent, particularly effective when used with chlorine or bromine biocide treatment. It is a high performance non-ionic surface active agent dispersant with additional antifoam scientifically formulated for the treatment of cooling water systems including re-circulating and once-through cooling systems. It improves the performance of cooling systems, where fouling by microbiological slimes is reducing efficiency, by removing and dispersing the deposits.
      It is particularly effective when used in conjunction with chlorine and or bromine based biocides and is ideally suited to be dosed with sodium hypochlorite for cooling tower cleaning and disinfection procedures and legionella control activities. It is effective in both re-circulating and once-through cooling systems.

 

  • Dispersant for Oil Fouling
    It is a high-performance cooling water dispersant that incorporates powerful surface active agents. It is scientifically formulated for the treatment of cooling systems including re-circulating and once-through cooling water systems. It is a high specification product developed to improve the performance of cooling water systems where fouling by microbiological slimes is reducing overall system efficiency, by removing and dispersing the unwanted deposits.
    It is extremely effective at controlling oil based fouling and is the ideal solution for use in both re-circulating and once-through cooling water systems.

    • Bromine activating solution
      It is a Liquid Activating Solution for use with bromine-based precursor inhibitors It is a stable liquid activating solution specifically formulated for use with our range of scale and corrosion inhibitors to release the biocidal power of “Bromine”.

 

    • Bromine Tablets
      It is an easy-to-use solid bromine tablet. This biocide is very effective against bacterial, algal and fungal growth found to develop in cooling water systems. It works well in both acid and alkaline water and exhibits superior performance to other oxidizing biocides at high pH. It also provides excellent on-line microbiological deposit removal and displays improved performance in water containing organic nitrogen compounds.

 

    • THPS based Microbicide
      It is a high performance non-oxidizing THPS based micro-biocide that uses the latest chemical technologies for the rapid and effective treatment of cooling water systems. It is a rapid-acting micro-biocide developed for use in cooling water systems and is effective against Legionella bacteria, SRB’s, algae and fungi. It will also penetrate and disperse biofilm slimes making it an ideal cooling water treatment.

 

    • Polyquat Biocide
      It is a highly efficient polymeric cationic microbicide scientifically formulated for the control of bacteria and algae in cooling water and related cooling systems, swimming pools and spas.
      It is a non-foaming micro-biocide ideally suited for use in cooling waters to control algae and aerobic and anaerobic bacteria over a wide pH range. It may also be used to control microbial problems in swimming pools and spas.

 

    • Isothiazolinone Biocide
      It is a broad spectrum, non-foaming, readily biodegradable micro-biocide for use in industrial cooling water systems. It is based on a formulation of Isothiazoline derivatives and is completely soluble in water. At relatively low concentrations it is effective against a range of microorganisms including many gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi and algae. It is effective over a wide range of pH and can be used in isolation or alternately with other non-oxidizing or oxidizing biocides.

 

    • DBNPA based Biocide
      It is a broad spectrum non-oxidizing biocide solution based on DBNPA for use in a range of applications such as cooling water, pulp and paper processing, metalworking fluids and the treatment of RO membranes. It is particularly rapid in its action and has an excellent environmental profile because it degrades quickly and naturally. It will rapidly kill a wide range of bacteria including Legionella bacteria. At 100 ppm Legionella is killed in 2 hours.
      It delivers a synergistic performance with halogen. It also exhibits rapid breakdown (hydrolysis) to low toxicity end products. The rate of breakdown increases with temperature and pH.

 

    • Bronopol based Biocide
      It is a highly effective bronopol-based organic biocide disinfectant for the treatment of open re-circulating cooling systems and closed circuit systems. It is a highly effective, broad-spectrum disinfectant and biocide.

 

    • Bronopol & Isothiazolinone based Biocide
      It is a broad spectrum, non-foaming, readily biodegradable micro-biocide for use in industrial open and closed heating and cooling systems. It is based on a formulation of Bronopol and Isothiazoline derivatives and is completely soluble in water. At relatively low concentrations it is effective against a range of microorganisms including many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, fungi, and algae.
      It is effective over a wide range of pH and can be used in isolation or alternately with other non-oxidizing or oxidizing biocides.

 

    • Glutaraldehyde based Biocide
      It is a high performance, broad spectrum organic biocide scientifically formulated for the treatment of open re-circulating cooling systems. It is a superior quality glutaraldehyde based treatment that is ideal for the control of bacteria, fungi and algae in open re-circulating cooling systems and evaporative condensers. It is a proven high performing product that is that can be used where exceptional performance is critical. It is low foaming and effective over a broad pH range.

 

    • Hypochlorite based Biocide
      Easy to use hypochlorite based solution with additional stabilizers to improve shelf-life. It is suitable for the disinfection of Potable water supplies and Swimming Pools.

 

    • Silver Hydrogen Peroxide based Biocide 
      It is a powerful, highly effective, broad-spectrum disinfectant that is both stable and safe. It is a solution of Hydrogen Peroxide  which is stabilized using a proprietary ionic silver-based chemistry.
      When correctly applied to water, air or any surface, it will disinfect through an oxidization process and continue to safely provide excellent residual performance.
      It is chlorine and alcohol-free, with no corrosive effects on usual materials of construction during application. After use, it simply degrades into harmless water and oxygen.

 

    • QAC tablets based Biocide
      It comprises a high performance, slow dissolving tablet based biocide scientifically formulated for the treatment of air conditioning systems, humidifiers, water tanks and water features.
      It is a tablet biocide that is scientifically formulated to provide the long lasting control of slime forming bacteria, sludge and other biological growths in HVAC systems, air conditioning condensate pans, ducted systems, humidifiers, drain lines, water tanks, gullies, decorative water features and more.
      Giving superior results where high performance is essential, it extremely safe to use; the tablets are non-corrosive and as they are totally soluble, they leave no residue.

 

    • High Foam Cleaner
      It offers the ability to effectively clean light to moderately fouled packs in-situ by combining the disinfecting power of chlorine dioxide with the cleaning and descaling power of a weakly acidic surfactant mixture. The system produces a high-cling foam which is applied to the surfaces to be cleaned under low pressure. The potential hazard of aerosols is avoided and the cleaning effect can be observed visually.
      It innovative cooling tower cleaning system is especially useful where it is not practical to remove the tower packing.
      It is based on phosphoric acid and incorporates a foaming agent tolerant to acid and chlorine dioxide.
