STP and ETP Treatment Chemicals

KNM’s coagulants offer superior performance characteristics and are ideal for industrial effluent treatment including wastewaters from food, dairy, oil, textiles/dye process and chemical industries; the treatment of potable and process waters, sewage effluent, paper processing (as a sizing & retention agent), emulsion cracking, water recycling and more.

Our advanced technology aluminium based coagulants include aluminium sulphate in liquid, solid slabs, kibbled and powder forms; ferric aluminium sulphate, aluminium hydroxide chloride and poly aluminium chloride (PAC).

STP and ETP Treatment Chemicals

*KNM 8304 & 8306 have a higher charge density than conventional 18% & 10% PAC’s.

As a consequence, these blends are much more effective for suspended solids removal and particulate BOD/COD reduction.

The products have a basicity level of 70% as opposed to 35 – 40 % for 18% PAC.

Therefore it will have less pH depression on the treated water and less adjustment will be required downstream (if currently applied).



    • Aluminum Sulphate based Coagulant
      It is a superior quality, high-performance liquid aluminum sulphate based primary coagulant. It is scientifically formulated for the treatment of a range of commercial, municipal and industrial process wastewaters and effluents. It excellent performance characteristics make it ideal for use in industrial effluent treatment including wastewaters from food, dairy, oil, textiles and chemical industries. It is an effective primary coagulant based on trivalent aluminum and is virtually iron-free. It is used for the treatment of potable water as well as process water, and sewage and industrial effluents.
      Aluminum sulphate works by neutralizing the negative charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes and promotes more efficient sludge digestion and dewatering.

 

    • Aluminum Hydroxide Chloride based Coagulant
      It is a high performance; aluminium hydroxide chloride based general-purpose coagulant scientifically formulated for industrial effluent treatment applications including wastewaters from food and dairy processing, oil, textiles and chemical industries. It works by neutralising the negative charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes and promotes more efficient sludge digestion and dewatering.
      The active component in is a highly cationic aluminium polymer present in low concentration 

 

    • Aluminum Hydroxide Chloride based Coagulant
      It is a high performance; aluminium hydroxide chloride based coagulant scientifically formulated for the treatment of industrial and process wastewater and effluent. Its excellent performance characteristics make it ideal for use in industrial effluent treatment including wastewaters from food, dairy, oil, textiles and chemical industries.
      It works by neutralising the negative charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes. Importantly it also promotes more efficient sludge digestion and dewatering.

      It is a technically advanced, high-performance aluminium hydroxide chloride based coagulant scientifically formulated for use in a range of commercial, manufacturing and industrial process activities. Its excellent performance characteristics makes it ideal for use in the treatment of process water, as a fixing agent in paper processing, for the treatment of oil-contaminated water, paper processing and water recycling.

    • Aluminium Iron Sulphate based Coagulant
      Aluminium Iron Sulphate - Cationic Iron & Aluminium Ions in Acidic Solution. It is a high performance; ferric aluminium sulphate based primary coagulant scientifically formulated for the treatment of potable water as well as process water, wastewater, sewage and industrial effluents.
      It works by neutralizing the negative charge on suspended and colloidal matter to produce compact flocs suitable for easy removal by either settlement or flotation processes. Additionally, it promotes more efficient sludge digestion and dewatering. It is a solution of ferric aluminium sulphate coagulant containing cationic iron & aluminium ions in acidic solution.

 

    • Poly-Aluminium Chloride based Coagulant
      It is a high performance; superior quality poly-aluminium chloride based coagulant, scientifically formulated for use in a wide range of commercial, municipal, manufacturing and industrial process applications including the treatment of wastewater and industrial effluent. It is a highly efficient coagulant with low generation of waste sludge in a wide pH range, even at low temperatures.
      It is used for several applications including the treatment of drinking water, swimming pool water, wastewater treatment, the treatment of sewage and industrial effluents. It is also used extensively in the pulp and paper processing industry.

 

    • Inorganic coagulant based on trivalent iron
      It is a high performance inorganic primary coagulant based on trivalent iron (Fe 3+). It is scientifically formulated for use in drinking water applications, wastewater treatment and effluent treatment. It is effective over a wide pH range.
      It can be used as an effective odour control agent and will aid phosphorus removal. It can also be used as a sludge conditioning agent and will inhibit corrosion by controlling the formation of hydrogen sulphide.
